MV Lochlann

MV Lochlann is an Interceptor 42 built by Safehaven Marine.
Launched in 2007, MV Lochlann is based in the Outer Hebrides: available for hire throughout the UK and
surrounding waters.

Ideal for survey work, diving, filming platforms, safety standby and fast passenger transfer.

Lochlann is powered by twin Caterpillar 3126 diesel engines, supplying 426 horsepower each, which gives a top
speed of 27 knots and a cruising speed of 17 – 18 knots. Its well-apportioned interior provides spacious seating for
12 people.

Fuel consumption at 18 knots is 80 litres per hour. At 9 knots this is reduced to 20 litres per hour.

Outside deck space measures approximately 3500mm by 3800mm long. There is an easily removable seating pod
for 8 people. The boat comes with tender and 15 horsepower outboard.

There is comfortable sleeping accommodation for four with double bunk in the forward cabin and two fold-out
bunks in the main cabin area.
For winter work, heating is supplied by an Eberspacher heating system to keep the cabin at a comfortable working
temperature.
